My Approach

Every project begins with thorough research, bold experimentation, and meticulous refinement to achieve purposeful and meaningful design.

Experience

Skilled in publishing and marketing communications, I develop clear, effective visual materials across print and digital platforms—ranging from newsletters, brochures, signage, and vehicle wraps to social media graphics and exhibit displays. As the lead designer on campaigns and community initiatives, I collaborate closely with writers, editors, and cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life, while maintaining brand consistency and meeting tight deadlines.


In addition, I have a strong foundation in book publishing design, including educational and trade books, industry catalogs, and scholarly journals. From overseeing printing and publishing workflows to designing book interiors and covers, preparing mechanicals, and producing supplementary materials to ensure the successful completion of titles.


From Concept Through Completion

I’m hands-on throughout the entire design process—from concept through production—and experienced in managing vendor relationships, print specifications, and budgets. Whether supporting event planning, shaping brand identity, or creating engaging educational and promotional materials, I bring strategic thinking and attention to detail to every project.

Niles-Maine District Library

2020, 2022


2022 – Niles-Maine District Library PR & Marketing Team won the $10,000 John Cotton Dana Award for the Not So Haunted Open House. In collaboration with a committee of librarians and programmers, the Marketing Team organized and brought this special event to life. The event showcased the Library’s many offerings to the community. On October 30, 2021, patrons trick-or-treated through the Library stopping at stations designed to showcase our services and building spaces. 593 patrons attended. 


2020 – Niles-Maine District Library PR & Marketing Team won the $10,000 John Cotton Dana Award for the Best. Deal. EVER! The sixteen-month campaign ran from Library Card Sign-Up Month in September 2018 through December 2019, aiming to increase new library card sign-ups by 10%. Centered on the Best. Deal. Ever! message with Sign Up & Save as the call to action, it promoted how a Niles-Maine library card helps residents save money. It also launched the Show Your Card. Get a Deal! program offering cardholders exclusive local business discounts. I contributed to campaign content creation and served as the sole designer for the brand identity, logo, and extensive marketing materials.
