With more than a decade of experience in cultural and educational institutions, I have a deep understanding of how strong visual communication supports outreach, programming, and community engagement.
Featuring photos I’ve captured, the covers highlight the patrons and reflect the library’s warm, inclusive spirit — inspired by the people, moments, and everyday experiences that bring the library to life.
While working with the Niles-Maine District Library, I designed the branded look, and played a key role in planning and execution of the BEST. DEAL. EVER! a sixteen-month campaign launched during Library Card Sign Up Month in September 2018 and ending in December 2019. Aimed at increasing library card sign-ups by promoting the card’s money-saving value.
The challenge was to create a compelling visual identity and launch the campaign with a brochure that effectively highlighted the library’s cost-saving features.
My solution was to develop a bold, eye-catching brand identity—including the logo, campaign look, and a suite of marketing materials—that clearly communicated value and encouraged engagement.
I also created branded materials for print and digital platforms and supported the rollout of Show Your Card. Get a Deal!, a local business partnership offering exclusive discounts to cardholders.
A circular motif prominently featured on the cover, echoing the distinctive shape of the building’s windows and interior lighting. The circle also symbolizes the library’s role in the continuous pursuit of learning and the timeless preservation of stories and knowledge.
